Admission Process Overview

The admission process at St. Peter’s International School involves the following steps:

  1. Submission of the Application Form with the required documents.
  2. Verification of documents by the school administration.
  3. Aptitude assessment or entrance test (if applicable).
  4. Interaction with the Principal or designated admission officer.
  5. Final confirmation of admission and fee payment.

Documents Required

To initiate the admission process, parents are required to submit the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate: Original or attested copy from the relevant authority.
  • Academic Records: Official copies of the student’s academic reports for the last one year.
  • Photographs: Six recent passport-sized colored photographs of the student.
  • Transfer Certificate: Required for students applying for admission from Class 2 onwards, issued by the previous school.
  • Application Form: Completed and signed by the parent or guardian.

Age Criteria

Age criteria are strictly adhered to at St. Peter’s International School to ensure that children are placed in age-appropriate classes, fostering intellectual and social development:

  • Pre-Primary Classes: Age as of March 31 of the admission year.
  • Class 1 and Above: Age eligibility based on the school’s age-grade matrix, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines.

Aptitude Assessment

Students applying for admission will undergo an aptitude test to determine their readiness for the desired class. The assessment may include:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • General awareness for higher classes.

The results of the test, coupled with the child’s age and academic history, will guide the final class placement.
